Mainstreaming Russian popular motives into modern art
The trend to rethink traditional motives can be seen in various forms of modern art. The image of the people ' s heritage is distorted, creating the risk of the disappearance of Folklore and cultural identity. What is this, a study of collective memory in order to understand ourselves in a new world or a repetition of the past because of the vagueness of the future? In my visual study, I’m looking for an answer to that question.
