The participation in an international movie poster competition became our final project made within this module. We were asked to made both poster for the movie we chose and its brief branding extension as a task. Once again, some key words that are connected to the field of culture we design in were chosen to be helpful and path determining. So my word was «recursion» in a movie terminology, and I got to link its meaning to creating a poster for a chinese comedy «Kung-Fu Hustle» (2003, directed by Stephen Chow).

I created a bright, chinese-style four-poster-series with obvious dynamics. Looking into this graphic «hustle», there can be noticed some floating symbols of the movie (axes, lollipops etc.), imitating trajectories of movements in the art of Kung-Fu: smooth, sharp, and even unpredictable.
