Because of the individualized approach to selection, there are hundreds of products and segments in the market, yet no one accounts for the current consumer position in an environment filled with information overload, a lack of trust in products, and choice paralysis.
The Solution
The beauty industry lacks a simple, personalized way to find cosmetics. A unified platform is needed—one where the user automatically receives product recommendations based on all their preferences.
Format
UniGlow — a digital platform aggregator
The site stores data on cosmetic products currently available on the market (cosmetic composition, absence of potential irritants, volume, product purpose for skin type, method of application, price segment, efficacy, and other details). Upon visiting the site, the user completes a short questionnaire about their preferences. Following this, the platform selects appropriate products. The project uses a freemium model: the basic and core product curation is free for the client, while additional services (such as generating recommendations based on a client’s facial photo, skin care consultation, and creating a daily care schedule, etc.) are offered for a separate fee or subscription.How is UniGlow different from regular marketplaces?
The platform does not impose a product or advertise specific items. It frees the consumer from endless choice by filtering information noise, all with the aim of caring for every individual.
