One of the most active student organizations in the school is the Mentor Corps—a structure responsible for recruiting senior students who help first-year students adapt to university life.
It operates under a clear system: the Mentor Corps organizers select mentors, who in turn recruit a team of guides (in the Design School, they are called «mentors»).
Mentor — this is the individual who oversees the selection process for the mentor team and coordinates them throughout the entire season. For more details on mentoring responsibilities and the internal operations of the mentors within the School of Design, please read the longread [at this link](https://mediiia.com/project/n-c8556ef7aa3a49d496b44e7507cebb1e) :)

This year, the School of Curators organized a team-wide trip to the Voronovo training center from January 16–18. Mentors and organizers of the School participated in the trip.

And we went to Voronovo!
Over two days, we stayed with mentors from different programs and departments. Our tasks included attending educational sessions aimed at improving the mentorship system at HSE. We also had sessions where we developed work plans specifically for our respective educational program/division.
This trip allowed us to get to know the mentors from other programs better, learn about their specific focuses, and delve deeper into the fundamentals of the Curators School’s work.
On the last day of the trip, our assistant, Alexey Lavrukhin, worked closely with us. He led educational modules and coordinated the mentoring plans and timelines.
