DonutLab: a donut shop where you design your own donut

Problem: People love donuts, but there’s nowhere to buy them:
— In St. Petersburg, there are only two small donut chains and six locations across the city.
— According to a survey, 85% of people are unaware of any of them.
— Furthermore, 73% would like such a place to open and are willing to buy donuts there.
— Donuts in shops and bakeries are often not fresh and are uniform for everyone. You cannot choose them «to your liking.»
Людям не хватает места, где пончик свежий и такой, как хочется именно тебе.
Solution: Build your donut
— The guest chooses four items: size, filling, glaze, and sprinkles.
— The donut is prepared fresh, right before the guest.
— You can order using the tablet in the café or through the app.
— If you enjoyed the custom build, you can share it with friends using a code—when your friend orders the same donut, you will receive 5% of the price.
What I created: the DonutLab brand and service—a donut shop in the center of St. Petersburg. It’s a bright space where you can see the preparation process. Orders are placed via self-service tablets and the mobile application. Coffee and other beverages are available alongside the donuts, making it a place to sit and spend time.

Outcome:
— Problem: There are many donut enthusiasts, but few places where they can customize their donuts.
— Solution: A donut that the guest assembles themselves.
— Format: A brand and service—a donut shop with an application.
