Typography Centered
Portaresko Polina’s Portfolio
Selected Works
Typography · Book Design · Lettering

I work across book design and typography, combining deep research with modern aesthetics to translate complex narratives into clear, highly functional systems.
My projects range from cultural archives and photobooks for independent publishers to self-published zines and photographic series, always ensuring that the visual form seamlessly elevates the content.
My creative process is backed by strict technical discipline. I am fully proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and manage complete prepress production — handling rigorous preflight profiles, precise CMYK color separations, overprint settings, and trapping to ensure digital layouts translate flawlessly onto physical paper.
The Ordinary
Photobook · Book Design · Visual Research
William Eggleston photographed out of context, without interfering with
the world he captured. His shots are often perceived as entirely mundane, amateurish, and ordinary. However, this is far from the truth. This book explores the phenomenon of the ordinary through the lens of his unique photographic approach.

The Photobook Cult
Exhibition Catalog · Book Design · Photobook
Created for a festival in Bologna, this exhibition was organized to allow photobook fair visitors to see rare editions that are not easily accessible.
The catalog was designed to give the viewer the tactile and emotional feeling of owning a photobook they could not acquire in its full version.

razdrai
Display Typeface · Zine Specimen
razdrai is a display typeface built on a three-module system, reflecting my personal perception of the world. Originally inspired by a scattered handful of nails, it is rooted in randomness and naturally forms dynamic ligatures. The emotional core of the typeface is expressed through
its variability — letters scatter in width, as if physically thrown across
the page. To showcase the font, I created a handmade zine-specimen, assembled without traditional imposition and bound with a simple staple. Photo in zine were made by me too.
